  Been taking our cars to Speedy Auto for more than 10 years. Herb and the mechanics there helped me coax a 2001 Intrepid to >210,000 miles before it finally died (would have needed a full engine rebuild and the car wasn't worth it due to other problems (deer damage)) and my wife's 1994 Mustang is still running strong because of them. The first time we went there, he turned us away telling us to go talk to Ford because it was a known issue with that year's make, and saved us over $1000, also giving up a $2000 job in the process by being honest. Herb and the other's at Speedy Auto have always been straight about what absolutely needs to be done to drive safely versus the kinds of things that should be addressed but aren't critical right then.
  
  Update: We no longer drive those two cars, but Speedy Auto continues to provide excellent service for my 2000 Buick LeSabre.
