  I was in Ann Arbor due to a medical emergency. I didn't arrive until 3:00am at the hotel. The gentleman that greeted us was very pleasant. We received the U of M Hospital discount which was way more than the posted pricing on line. We booked 2 rooms for 2 night and paid cash in advance plus we had to deposit $100 a room for no smoking!!! Because we explained we were not sure how long we would have to be in town, I was told that if we didn't need the second night we would be refunded the advance payment. We stayed that night, and they next day found out we didn't need to stay the second night. I called the hotel from the hospital explained the situation and was told that I would receive a refund for the second night. When I returned to the hotel a 45 minutes later the manager required that I pay for one of the second nights!!! I will not stay at, or recommend a Comfort Inn ever again.
